Water Chemistry Monitoring Buoys

A network of 3 water quality monitoring buoys, funded by MIT SeaGrant, and built and maintained by UMass Boston CESN. These buoys record water chemistry and weather conditions every 10 minutes. Data is uploaded automatically every 2 hours to this web database. The data gathered here will be used by the UMass Boston School for the Environment to study the correlation of satellite imagery to water conditions. Buoy data can be accessed using the forms below or through the WQData Live portal.
